Nanomaterials
Low-dimensional (low-D) nanomaterials are families of materials with length scales at certain dimensions limited to ultra-small (only several nanometers), including 0-D, 1-D, and 2-D materials. Due to the space confinement, low-D materials show unique physical and chemical properties, which could lead to disruptive technology in many areas.
We developed core technologies for synthesizing all types of low-D materials, and are exploring their unique properties for potential future applications in energy, environment, electronics, and intelligence of things.
