​Honda Research Institute USA (HRI-US) is seeking a research oriented engineer with a passion for drone technology that is experienced with autonomous drone path planning in multi-agent applications.
Mountain View, CA

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • ​Literature review of state-of-the-art methods for UAV planning for UAV-Human teams. 
  • Introduce and develop new UAV planning method for a given application. 
  • Write and publish a conference paper on the work.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • ​Ph.D. candidate focused on UAV planning/coordination.
  • Comfortable in Python and/or C++ programming languages.

 

Bonus Qualifications

  • Publications on topics involving UAV path planning
  • Familiar with Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2) framework
