Key Responsibilities

  • Study the magnetic properties of spin-based qubits, such as relaxation and coherence times, ODMR, and noise spectroscopy for quantum sensing; and selection of proper qubit platforms based on their magnetic sensing properties.
  • Build prototype quantum magnetic vector magnetometers aiming at high sensitivity and spatial resolution for quantum sensing applications as well as quantum microscope for fundamental research.
  • Realization of gradiometry measurements and distributed quantum sensor network.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in condensed matter physics, atomic molecular, or optical physics. Postdoc experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in cavity-enhanced readout technique.
  • Experience in performing magnetic property measurement of qubits including EPR, ODMR, and T2/T1 relaxometry.
  • Experience in qubits initiation and readout techniques and noise spectroscopy techniques.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with cryogenic setup.
  • Experience with metrology and quantum measurement (timing, inertial sensing, magnetometry).
  • Experience with quantum materials synthesis technique and setup building.
