Honda Research Institute USA (HRI-US) is seeking a research intern to join our interdisciplinary team, working at the intersection of generative AI, robotics, machine learning, and psychology. At its core, this role focuses on developing robotic agents to support human-human interactions. This involves the development of computational frameworks that can evaluate behavioral states in group interactions, as well as the design and development of multimodal robot behaviors that enrich group interactions in ways that support target outcomes. Interns are highly encouraged and supported to publish their research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
