Research Intern: Low-Dimensional Materials Synthesis

Honda Research Institute USA (HRI-US) is seeking a motivated Research Intern to join our materials science team working at the forefront of 2D material synthesis and device physics. The project focuses on developing layer-controlled 2D materials (e.g., WTe₂, MoTe₂, and related TMDs) to enable tunable nonlinear Hall effects (NLHE) for next-generation energy harvesting and low-power electronics. The intern will gain hands-on experience in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) synthesis, as well as in advanced material characterization techniques. This is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about nanomaterials, condensed matter physics, and electronics devices to contribute to cutting-edge research with direct technological applications.
